Overview

The fundamental aim of the Graduate Diploma in Economics is to facilitate progression to postgraduate study in the area of economics, finance and related disciplines by allowing graduates in non-economics disciplines to convert their knowledge and skills to those expected of an Honours graduate in economics. The course also enables holders of those with non-UK economics degrees (that are not considered equivalent to UK degree standards) to upgrade their degrees to the level expected of a UK Honours economics graduate and so facilitate postgraduate study. Those with third-class UK economics degrees can also upgrade their skills. If you do not have a degree, but have professional qualifications and/or experience at an appropriate level, then this course is also suitable.
