Overview

The course has been designed for recent computing graduates and mature applicants with extensive relevant work-related experience who want to further and/or formalise their expertise to the highly recognised master level.

Its aim is to provide a specific set of the computing body of knowledge, technical and soft skills with particular emphasis on those areas which are - at the time of delivery - considered as core for a career in the profession.

The study programme is academically rigorous, yet gentle and flexible. In addition to core modules, a number of optional modules may be selected from other masters programmes in the Faculty of Computing. Students are also allowed to transfer to other MSc courses in the Faculty if they develop interests in a specialist area at a later date.
