Aims of the courseThe Management Development Unit (MDU) at London Metropolitan University, trading as LondonMet Enterprises Ltd, is a leading provider of innovative consultancy, training and development since 1970 and is recognised as a Centre of Excellence by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) for the quality and flexibility of its CIPS Graduate Diploma programmes and are supported by a number of key organisations in both the public and private sectors.
Our programmes encourage critical reflection on current developments and focus on contemporary issues in supply chain management and aim to provide both theoretical and practical understanding of issues affecting the business environment and the purchasing and supply chain function as well as offer thorough preparation for the Institute’s examinations. Our programmes make use of MCIPS specialist practitioners, consultants, and our extensive learning resources include multimedia and case studies.Successful completion of the CIPS Graduate Diploma together a minimum of three years relevant work experience leads to full Corporate Membership of the CIPS (MCIPS).
