Top marks for London Met's quality

In 2011, London Metropolitan University received the highest accolade in the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) review.

The QAA is an independent body that conducts rigorous assessments of universities and colleges in the UK every five years. They make sure that these institutions are delivering awards, including degrees, of the very highest quality.

London Met was assessed on a wide range of areas including: management of academic standards, learning opportunities, quality enhancement, collaborative taught provision and postgraduate research.

The London Met QAA took place over several months and was completed in December 2010. Both staff and students gave feedback and contributed to the review.

The results of the Review were published on 15 April 2011.
