Launch your business with London Met

London Met’s business incubator, Accelerator, is looking for new start-ups to support

Starting a business can be a costly, intimidating and confusing process in which there are no guarantees of success. That’s why London Met's Launchpad business start-up programme is an amazing opportunity for enterprising students and graduates of the University.

The Launchpad Programme- previously known as the Hatchery- is part of Accelerator, London Met’s specialist business incubator. It has helped over 60 start-up businesses in the last year alone. The programme is now looking for new start-ups to join their inspiring community.

The new cycle begins in July with the Commencement Bootcamp, and is open to all students and graduates of London Met.

Simon Boot, Student and Graduate Enterprise Manager, said: “This University is brimming with amazing ideas, but so often students and graduates just don’t know how to take the first step.

“Launchpad changes all that – the programme is hands on, fast paced, and enables participants to take their business a long way in 10 short weeks.”

Launchpad is an intensive, 10-week programme that helps students validate their business idea and, if it’s viable, supports them in developing a plan for acting on the opportunity. The programme offers entrepreneurs office space, specialist business advice and mentoring, as well as access to software, events, workshops, and important networking opportunities.

Accelerator was recently named among the top five ‘Most Active’ business incubators in Europe, highlighting its contribution to London’s booming start-up industry.
