Professor Sir Alec Reed, of Reed Employment, visited the University recently with colleagues involved in his Ethiopia Aid project. As well as touring the Graduate Centre, Sir Alec had discussions with staff about possible education projects in Ethiopia. Mark Bickerton, director of student recruitment, marketing and communications and Bob Morgan, head of the department of business and service sector management, met with Sir Alec and with Dr Minas Hiruy from Addis Ababa, to offer advice about setting up vocational education programmes locally in Addis.
