New initatives to engage with staff, students and alumni
London Met is increasingly participating in new technology and web 2.0 initiatives in order to engage with its prospective and current students, staff and alumni.
Social Networking

|
London Met now has an active presence on many of the major social networks including facebook, twitter, youtube and myspace. You can find links to the official University networks as well as accounts for students, departments and alumni on the new Social Networking page. You will also notice the social networks icon bar on each page which links straight to this page. If you would like your network to appear on the listing please send an email to news@londonmet.ac.uk with details.
RSS Feed
A recent addition to the website has been the popular news stories’ RSS feed, a hassle-free way of keeping up-to-date with breaking news at the University. To subscribe to the London Met RSS feed please click here. For information on RSS feeds and how to use them click here.
Personalised Prospectus
London Met has recently launched a pioneering online system that allows prospective postgraduate students to compile their own personalised prospectus. The system focuses on the individual, allowing visitors to browse and select the courses that interest them. These are then collated in a PDF document along with a general introduction to the University.
Follow the 'My Prospectus' link from the London Met homepage to start choosing a personal list of courses and encourage potential students anywhere in the world to do the same.
These developments have been made possible through collaboration between the Department of Marketing, Communications and Fundraising (DMCF) and the Department of Information, Systems and Services (ISS).
