Gorgeous design graduate Emma has Lynx effect
Gorgeous London Met graduate Emma Jensen will soon be on small screens everywhere after being cast as the lead girl in the new Lynx advert. She has just returned from filming the new The Lynx Inca commercial in Prague, capital of the Czech Republic.
Not just a pretty face, Emma has had a successful summer all round after being specially chosen for inclusion at the New Designers Selection, which showcases the work of the top 30 designers from this year’s UK graduates.
Emma who studied the BA Interior Design and Technology course at The Cass (The Sir John Cass Department of Art, Media and Design) will appear in a special pullout in leading magazine Design Week.
Every year over three thousand designers from UK art schools, colleges and universities show their work at the New Designers exhibition in the Business Design Centre. A lucky thirty have been chosen for inclusion in the New Designers Selection. Emma’s project was a ‘retreat’ designed as part of a live project for Kew Gardens.
Talking about her success, Emma said, ‘I am absolutely thrilled, I can't quite believe that I was chosen out of so many people. I owe so much to the Interior design degree team. I now feel ready to take on the design world and show it what I have got to give!’
Emma will get a chance to put her skills into action as she has already been asked to redesign a bar in Chigwell and is currently embarking the rather daunting task of her first real interior design brief.
Michael Upton, Academic Leader for recruitment and marketing said: ‘The competition in the design world is fierce, so this achievement is great news for Emma, the Cass and for London Metropolitan University.’
