GameLab London's latest programme to air on BBC Learning Zone

GameLab London, the enterprise and action research initiative from London Met's Faculty of Computing has recently produced a TV programme for the BBC's Learning Zone.

SEN Skills for Life will be transmitted on 17 June 2009 at BBC2 at 4am. The programme will present 15 clips of drama and animation aimed at young people with learning difficulties.

The selection will cover issues including bullying, peer pressure and sex, appropriate behaviour, online safety, stranger danger, dealing with feelings, team work, personal safety, independence, social skills, friends and relationships.

Gamelab London was formed to bring the best in interaction design, educational software development and film production under one umbrella: working with the new multi-facetted approach to broadcast media.

The initiative provides services in interaction design, gaming for education, interactive DVD and broadcast media, with a specialism in producing fully inclusive content for people with learning difficulties and for blind or deaf users.
