It has slowly become tradition that a team of Tourism and Travel Management students scoop the first prize in the Induction Treasure Hunt. During our welcome week of fun activities, a strong team of Year 1 students have managed to search the Moorgate building top to bottom for answers to 30 tricky questions.

The competition was fierce. Almost twenty teams representing variety of courses available from the Guildhall School of Business and Law took their chance to find out location of Student Societies, number of Synergy Suites available or Royal Patron of the London Metropolitan University.

Tourism students looked totally surprised when announced as winners! Even more when presented with an award - Amazon vouchers for every team member. We're keeping fingers crossed that next year's fresher’s will uphold the tradition.

Mathilde, a Tourism and Travel Management student and winner said "Welcome week was very interesting and helpful for new students. Everyone was very welcoming and they helped a lot with any questions we had. The treasure hunt was such a good idea as we had to go around the campus to find information. This was really helpful to get familiar with the building before our courses start."

Zaiga, also on the winning team said “Welcome Week was extremely helpful and so much fun. Completing the treasure hunt helped me prepare for starting my course. I realised there is so much support given to you as a student, all my questions were answered - and we won!”
