Alumnus graduation film selected for London festival

For Hire the graduation film directed by Varun Chawla, an alumnus of MA Film Production, has been selected for the London Short Film Festival 2013
In the film, shot on location in Mumbai, Munna, a taxi driver is hired to drive Maya, a sex worker to her client in the city every night. After witnessing the realities, he unexpectedly faces up to some home truths.
For Hire is showing on the 6th January at the Ritzy Picturehouse as part of New Shorts #10: INDIAN TALES, a programme of short films reflecting life in modern India and Pakistan.
It will also be screened at the Jaipur International Film Festival 2013. You can see a teaser for the 23 Minute film here.
