On Saturday 13 April students were treated to a comedy improvisation workshop. This was as part of on going monthly Study Group Leader Seminars organised by Dr Sundus Tewfik to develop students’ key competencies. The goal of the session was to enhance students’ divergent and lateral thinking and creativity as well as boosting their self confidence.

After lunch, the students listened and engaged in talks by three alumni about their journey during and after they graduated:

Mahamed Abukar - Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics Scientist at Evotec, Oxford
Edina Cservenkova - Quotations Administrator at Butterworth Labs, Teddington
Feyisola Adekunle - Clinical Research and Development Facilitator, Lewisham Healthcare NHS Trust

These three graduates were truly inspirational for the students.

Special mention to Smaranda Schiopu (MA Creative Industries, London Met) who helped to facilitate the workshop.
