Harold Offeh will talk on his ongoing project Coverswhich sees him re-creating album covers from the ‘70sand ‘80s. He puts this in the context of other artists practices where performance and the body is used toexplore social and cultural histories. Harold Offeh studied at the University of Brighton and the Royal College of Art, London. He works in performance, video, photography and participatory projects, often employing humour as a means to confront the viewer with an assessment of contemporary culture. He has shown widely both in Britain and abroad. He lives in Cambridge and works in London and Leeds where he is a senior lecturer in Fine Art at Leeds Beckett University.
