Mathematics subject area excels in the National Student Survey
The mathematics subject area in the School of Computing has done very well in past National Student Surveys, achieving 100% in some areas, and 2013 is no exception.
The dedication of the mathematics academics has resulted in BSc Mathematics not only achieving above the university average (72%) and the institutional benchmark, but also above the national sector average (85%).
The maths masterclasses, maths clinics, outreach activities, research and personal academic tutor activities have all contributed to the continued satisfaction of our mathematics students.
