Full day of fun at Electra House

London Metropolitan University celebrated 70 years in Electra house, Moorgate with a bang this year. All staff and students were invited to the end of year ball with a one night only pop up bar from The Rocket Complex. Students and staff alike relaxed and enjoyed an eventful evening which saw the basement transform into a City nightclub.
There was also a live performance from our own staff band ‘The Last Hurrah’ who kept everyone entertained with a follow on performance from their Lord Mayor’s Show success.
Throughout the day the faculty also took part in Save the Children's Christmas Jumper Day supporting children in need all over the world. In addition to the many festivities the Placements & Employability Unit hosted a fundraiser for Amnesty International raising a total of £223. The London Guildhall Faculty of Business and Law would like to thank everyone that took part in organising and hosting the activities of the day. We hope this is the first of many staff and students events at Electra House.
