London Met has been successful in its bid to work as part of the North East London Partnership and has been commissioned to run the following:

This means the University is able to deliver Social Work courses to support the Partnership, a group of Local Authorities to support the training and development required for newly qualified social workers (NQSWs) and experienced social workers.

“We are delighted that the North East London have awarded the social work department at London Met the opportunity to deliver the ASYE, PE and CPD courses,” said Dr Allister Butler, Head of Social Work Subject Area at London Met.

“Being regarded as a preferred provider of post-qualifying training is important to the University. Social Work Practitioners enrolled on these courses will be equipped with current knowledge and skills as well as supporting their own continuing professional development.”
