A lecture by Sam Bompas and Charlott Ann Ommedal.

Date: 01/02/2015

Leaders in flavour based experiences. Founder Sam Bompas and design manager Charlott Ann Ommedal will be talking us through their projects.

Founded in 2007 Bompas and Parr’s early work used jelly as a vehicle to research the cross modal correspondences between food and architecture. Their work has evolved into the creation of immersive flavour based experiences ranging from an inhabitable cloud of gin and tonic, a chocolate climbing wall and alcoholic boating experiences.

Ann Charlott Ommedal studied Graphic Design BA and became involved with Bompas and Parr after graduating. She will be talking about her journey from university to design manager and the work behind the scences in creating, designing and promoting events with Bompas and Parr. Sam and Charlott Ann’s talk will appeal to students studying visual communication, 3D, interiors, music, photography, art and architecture due to the nature of their multidisciplinary practice.
