Clive Wright, Director, Hyperion HR Ltd. and Visiting Professor, London Metropolitan University

Clive is Director of Hyperion HR Ltd. The company provides HR and reward consulting services to business leaders and HR Directors. He successfully established Hyperion after leaving Mercer in 2009 following eight years as a Principal working with FTSE 100 and international companies across a range of industries and on a number of HR, compensation and benefit services and projects.

Prior to joining Mercer, Clive was Director, Group Compensation and Benefits for The BOC Group plc, and fulfilled senior global HR and Reward roles for STC Plc and Fujitsu/ICL before that.

He is a Visiting Professor at London Metropolitan University and a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD where for the last eight years has served as Chair of the Reward Forum and delivered the ‘Developing a Reward Strategy’ course.

In addition to leading Hyperion HR, Clive is the Council Director of the European and the Asia-Pacific Compensation and Benefits Councils of The Conference Board.

Recent consulting projects have included benchmarking the executive compensation packages for a UK based Plc company, supporting a major investment bank to improve governance and processes for employee benefits in 14 countries in EMEA and leading a workshop on the organizational design of the compensation and benefits group for a major, international Dutch company.
