BA (Hons) Public Relations
This vocational course provides you with a solid foundation in Public Relations theory and practice, giving you the skills necessary to start a career in either the commercial or public sector, PR consultancy, or within any organisation where you need to maintain relationships with a wide variety of stakeholder groups.
Three levels, each of 120 credits. If you take a Joint you study each subject for 60 credits at each level.

There are opportunities for you to gain professional experience through optional short-term or year-long work placements.
Optional Professional Placement Year with additional Professional Accreditation
All LMBS undergraduate degree programmes offer an optional, 12-month professional work placement, normally taken after the first two years of study. The placement year offers students the opportunity to gain an additional 30 credits at degree level and valuable graduate level work experience Additionally it provides students with an internationally recognised City and Guilds Licentiateship Award and eligibility for membership of The Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).
This course equips you for careers in marketing, media and communications, as both a consultant and a practitioner. The course also provides a foundation for further study or professional examinations.
There are links with the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and a variety of organisations active in this dynamic business sector.

Click here for the University's standard entry requirements. You should also have 200 points, including at least 140 from two or more A-levels. English Language and Maths GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) are also required. These requirements may be varied.
Exemptions are determined according to prior academic or work-based qualifications. If you have good grades on BTEC HND/C or equivalent, you may be admitted to level 2 or 3.
