Economics
BSc (Hons) International Economics and Finance
This powerful combination of international economics and finance will provide you with a range of challenging and financially rewarding career options. The course equips you with a detailed knowledge of financial and economic theory and methods that you can apply on an international basis. You are encouraged to use economic reasoning in different contexts and gain a critical appreciation of the international financial system. There is a wide range of optional modules to choose from, and the course develops your employability skills. The School has a strong research base, and a thriving alumni community helps maintain links with employers and City institutions.
Course structure
Three levels, each of 120 credits.

Applications from Access courses are strongly encouraged.
Entry requirements
Click here for the University's standard entry requirements. In addition, the current requirement is 200 points from two or more A-Levels or equivalent. You should also have at least GCSE grade C, or equivalent, in English Language and Mathematics.
Accelerated study
Given appropriate prior achievement, direct entry into level 2 and, exceptionally, level 3, could be considered.
