Research

The management research centre carries out research on key issues and developments in management, particularly in the context of significant change within organisations and their environments. This work ranges from theoretical developments to more applied research on the nature and practice of management and the development of managers. Members of the centre's staff have particular expertise in key areas, such as management learning and development, corporate governance and business ethics, international human resource management, public service reform and global business management. They include three Professors (Yochanan Altman, John Walton and Stephen Perkins), Dr. Dean Bartlett (Senior Research Fellow) and a number of other staff who are associated with the centre. The centre also offers an action research and consultancy service to organisations in the private and not-for-profit sectors.
