brief biography
Vlasios is best known for his work on agent-based models designed to help leaders in government, business and civil society explore their strategic options in an uncertain world . Before joining LMBS CIBS, he was working for Birkbeck University of London as course director and before that at City University London.
As a senior consultant, Vlasios provides services to corporations and non-profit organisations by consulting regularly with executives from a variety of fields to help create pragmatic solutions to world-impacting problems. For example, Vlasios contributed to i) the House of Commons inquiry about the UK's Energy Supply: Security or Independence? ii) the 2012 Pacific Energy Summit in Vietnam following the invitation by the US National Bureau of Asian Research and iii) the "Economic Development and Climate Change" policy debate in Indonesia following sponsorship by the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
