brief biography

Tony was first a lecturer at the City of London Polytechnic, became a senior lecturer and then a principal lecturer at London Guildhall University and has since 2006 been an academic leader. During his career Tony has been the course director for programmes in economics, the chair of the departmental quality committee and chair of the subject standards board. Tony has also served on various university-wide committees in such areas as Quality and Standards and he is currently a member of the mitigating circumstances panel.

key teaching areas

Tony teaches on a range of courses including Mathematics for Economists and Financial Markets and Institutions at Level C, Economics of Employment at Level I, Labour Economics and Macroeconomic Policy at Level H. He also teaches an LFA course called Economic Indicators and Financial Markets.

research interests

Tony's main area of interst is the segmentation of labour markets and the changing nature of labour market institutions.
