    brief biography

    Shahzavar has a BSc and MA in Economics and graduated from University of London with a PhD in Monetary Economics. His academic background also includes a BA in Philosophy from Birkbeck College, University of London and a teaching training certificate from University of Greenwich. Before joining North London University in 2001 he taught Economics and Business Studies at the Business School of Beijing Electronic College in China. His portfolio of lecturing experience also includes teaching undergraduate students at Goldsmith College (University of London) where he taught Micro and Macroeconomics. Shahzavar has also been responsible for organising and teaching a number of economics and business courses at North London College, South Thames College and at Merton College.
