Brief biography
BSc in Economics and International Relations from UCL, 1969, Studied and taught International Relations at Lehigh University,PA. USA. MA in Political Behaviour at The University of Essex, 1972 . Research into Industrial Sociology at Imperial College London 1972 to 1975.
Founding Director of Studies at The European Business School, London in 1979 and Member of the Academic Board for EBS Paris and of Regent’s College from 1982 to 1985.
Later European Consultant to the Directorate Kingston Polytechnic, MBA Consultant to the Directorate South Bank University, consultant trainer to the Department of Employment (Leeds) and other organisations.
Directed the European Business Management School London and was Visiting Professor to EBS Paris and member of Academic Board EBS International from 1989 to 1995. Subsequently worked with Birkbeck College and Henley Management College before joining LMU full time in 2004.

Since 1972 publications in a range of journals have included work on economic value, accumulation and crisis.
- The book 'L'inflazione e la crisi negli anni settanta; Una critica della moderna economica politica' with D.Yaffe. Turin: Musolini Editore, 1977.
- Academic Guides in 'Monetary Economics' (1989) and 'Corporate Finance' (1990) for the University of London External Degree Programme.
- Editor of 2 Volumes of the work of M.Itoh (Tokyo University) 1988,1990.
- Journals carrying articles and book reviews have included The Bulletin of the Conference of Socialist Economists, Crisis (Tokyo), Review of Political Economy , Journal of Latin American Studies.
Professional Practice / Consultancy
Previously consultant on branding for Lintas World Wide, and consumer behaviour for Sega UK. Editor for Macmillan books. Currently Training Consultant in overseas student placements and educational programmes to International Business Schools.
