brief biography

After an early career in healthcare, building and the music business, David graduated from North East London Polytechnic in 1978 with a 1st class honours degree in Applied Economics. Subsequent degrees include a MSc in Economics at the LSE, under the supervision of George Akerlof, and a PhD at City University, supervised by Geoff Kay. David has a long-standing interest, and has published widely, in the conceptual and historical foundations of modern economics.
