Why do a Pronunciation Course?
In the global workplace, good pronunciation in English is vital. It ensures a clear message is delivered and understood. Poor pronunciation can create a bad impression often leading to doubts about the speaker’s general competence. If you have identified a need to improve your English pronunciation and want to get on the right track towards producing a clearer, more confident spoken message then this course will give you the perfect starting point.
Course Aims
This course aims to give you an awareness of what English speakers really do when they speak, what your own particular difficulties are and to help you improve your productive skills as well as your understanding of spoken English. This practical and fascinating pronunciation course will also give you an opportunity to compare and contrast the phonological systems of English with those of your first language.

The International Phonetic Alphabet - using a dictionary to check pronunciation
