Business Works - Supporting Your Employment Needs
LMBS can provide a cost-effective labour resource to assist your business, through our part-time work experience and full-time 12-month work placement schemes. LMBS consists of a diverse student population studying courses covering a broad range of business subjects.
For over 25 years we have been placing students with organisations, many of which return to us year after year because of our professional and tailored service. Our schemes provide a foundation for our students to transfer knowledge and skills learnt to industry, which in turn aid in building stronger relationships between LMBS and the business community.
Our students can provide you with an extra pair of hands, fresh ideas, develop projects and bring a variety of skills to your organisation. Read more about the opportunites and how you can recruit.

Events Management Knowledge
Event Management Knowledge is a knowledge exchange programme which takes our experience in events marketing and management to end-users. This draws on our staff and student expertise which includes Undergraduate and Postgraduate Events Management programmes, occasional and bespoke short/continuing professional development (CPD) courses, a research seminar series and annual conference. We undertake commissioned research and host the Regional Studies Association Research Network on Mega-Events & Regional Development bringing together academics, policy-makers and industry practitioners around the management and planning of hallmark events such as the Olympics (e.g. London2012), EXPOs and major arts and sporting festivals e.g. European Capitals of Culture.
