Communication Advertising and Marketing Foundation (CAM): Managing Digital Media
Aims of the course
The aim of the course is to look at the fast changing landscape of social media and to identify emerging digital trends. The course also allows you to put digital media theory into practice - doing the work, managing digital campaigns and the concepts that you need to be aware of in order that this is undertaken successfully.
This CAM Diploma in Managing Digital Media is ideal for individuals whose role might involve working with digital media and implementing strategies that involve digital media. Successful completion of this Diploma also allows you to progress to the CAM Diploma in Marketing Communications with an exemption from the PR and Advertising modules.

Entry requirements
Choose from ONE of the following:
- You have any degree from a university
- You have A-levels in a relevant subject eg. business
- You have 2 years experience in communications, eg. by working in a charity or government or company communications job
Equivalent qualification from a non-UK organisation may well be acceptable provided students have achieved the equivalent of the above entry criteria. Those with significant communications industry experience, but without the formal qualifications, can apply for special consideration of their circumstances.
Course structure
The CAM Diploma in Managing Digital Media has four modules. Initially you will study Advertising and Public Relations over two evenings per week. You will then progress to the two other modules:
- Integrating Digital Media and Branding
- Implementing Digital Campaigns
Assessment
Integrated Digital Media and Branding, and Implementing Digital Campaigns are assessed via coursework. Advertising and Public Relations are assessed via examination.
Registration deadlines
Registrations are accepted until the module is full. To be certain of being accepted on to the course that you want, you should send your registration form about three weeks ahead of the class. However, please contact the Course Administrator for updates on space availability. If you are late at registration, we will try to find you space on a course which is not yet full.

Attendance and duration
Part-time (eve)
18 months (three terms). Typically students complete the course in 18 months by attending two evening lectures a week.
