• Individual sounds - vowels and consonants

• Consonant clusters

• Weakening

• The International Phonetic Alphabet - using a dictionary to check pronunciation

• Word stress

• Nucleus placement (sentence stress)

• Rhythm and intonation

• Key strategies on how to improve pronunciation in English

• Ear training - learning to listen and what to listen for

This will be a course tailored to the needs of the group. The amount of time devoted to any particular aspect will depend on the specific needs of the students who take the course.
