Academic Staff
The Department is a centre of excellence for the education of artists, designers and practitioners.
Most teaching staff are practising artists and designers and we enjoy the additional support of a large number of high profile design consultants, artists and manufacturers. The professional profile of our teaching staff presents both an exciting challenge to our students and brings a valuable sense of reality to the structure and delivery of our programmes. In addition to our teaching staff we have a number of professional staff and technicians whose valuable work supports the department. Well known staff include:

There are also many visits by guest lecturers from across the art, media and design world.
Our honorary graduates include Gilbert and George, James Moir (Vic Reeves), Tracey Emin and Zandra Rhodes.
