Student Perspectives
See below for comments from previous JYA students about studying at London Met through the JYA programme.
‘I am really satisfied that I could take part in JYA programme. I could make great friends. Not only foreign friends but also new types of Japanese friends. Their various ways of thinking are so interesting for me. I think I could grow up well through 8 months stay in London.’
‘I completely changed my attitude toward learning during a term of study abroad. I’d like to introduce four proverbs instead of my comments:
• Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
• He who is ashamed of asking is ashamed of learning.
• There’s no royal road to learning.
• When in Rome do as the Romans do.’
