Academic Requirements
All applicants must have completed at least 1 year at their home institution to be considered for entry into our Junior Year Abroad Programme.
English Requirements

Part 1 |
IELTS 4.5 (with a minimum of 4.5 in each component), or an equivalent qualification. When you progress onto the Part 2 subject study, you will take 2 subject classes from our Undergraduate degree courses. You can view a list of the available classes from here. |

Part 2 |
IELTS 5.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each component), or equivalent. We strongly recommend that you take extra Pre-sessional English classes before you start Part 2. This will help you aclimatize to our learning environment and allow you to settle in before you start your subject classes. |
What if I don't meet the English requirement?
If you don't meet the English requirements for either parts, detailed above, you are able to take extra pre-sessional English classes prior to enrolling onto the JYA programme. Please see details of the pre-sessional English courses here. The cost of the course is £795 per month.
