Handbook

Guides for Study in London students

The spring Handbook for Study in London students contains useful information that will help you to prepare for your time in London, as well as answering questions while you are here. Please take the time to carefully read through this handbook as it covers subjects such as university life, money, safety, travel and London's social scene. A hard copy of the booklet will be given to all students during orientation week.

We also have a Study Skills Guide available for your reference which should also be read in detail. This will enable you to successfully partake in the academic life of the university without encountering the pitfalls associated with: not attributing external reference material (plagiarism); bad time management (missing coursework deadlines); use of Wikipedia (never!); and not taking sufficient notes in lectures. The academic system at LondonMet may be very different to the one at your home university so it is imperative that you familiarise yourself with the academic regulations of the university. Failure to do so could mean failure to pass.
