The Airport Welcome Team will be at both these airports everyday on the following dates only:

Autumn Semester (September 2010) 2010/11:

Dates to be confirmed

Spring Semester (February 2010) 2009/10:

28th January 2010 (Heathrow T3 & T5 only)
29th January 2010 (Heathrow T3 & T5 only)

Time: 10am to 7pm

Our representatives will welcome you, help you with any problems, and advise you on the best method of reaching our Halls of Residence, your own accommodation and the University itself.

Arriving at other Airports or at other times

If you are arriving in London at another time than those dates listed above then we would strongly advise that you make your way to your accommodation first.

The nearest underground station to the University's North Campus is Holloway Road Station on the Piccadilly line and for the City Campus either Aldgate, Aldgate East, Tower Hill, Liverpool Street or Moorgate.

Arriving by Train

If you are travelling by Eurostar from Paris, Lille or Brussels, you will arrive at St. Pancras Railway Station. Take the underground or a taxi to reach your accommodation or the University.

Arriving by Boat

If you are arriving in the UK by boat, you will probably take the train from one of the ports to a mainline station in London. From these stations, take the underground and change as necessary to reach your accommodation or the University.

Arriving by Bus

If you arrive by bus or coach, then you will probably arrive at London Victoria Coach Station. This is a short walk from Victoria Underground Station.

Taxis

London is famous for its black taxis. Taxis are easy to find and will take you wherever you want to go. However, they can be expensive.

If you would like to book a mini-cab to collect you from the airport we suggest you use London Connections which is registered with the Public Carriage Office, and will give you a fixed quote for your journey.
