Education International Belgium/London Met Scholarship
In collaboration with EIB, Education International, Belgium, London Met offers a scholarship for a selected undergraduate student of the
EIB education programme in Bangladesh.
EIB - targets the most destitute orphan (female) children of
Bangladeshi society in the Cox's Bazar area (the South of the country
near the Burmese border).
Their main objective is to fight poverty, injustice and child
abuse by providing these poor children with the best education
possible, to help them to become secure and independent people.
London Metropolitan University has agreed to offer one free
(tuition waiver) scholarship to a selected undergraduate student of the
EIB education programme in Bangladesh, every two years, starting from
September/October 2006. EIB will be responsible for payment of all the
other costs associated with this scholarship collaboration.
Students should apply in the normal manner via London Metropolitan University''s website.
Deadlines for receipt of scholarship applications are 31st May for
September entry and 31st October for February entry.
This scholarship was awarded to Hazera Khanam who commences her studies at London Met in September 2006.
