"I received a 3.96 CGPA from the University of Dhaka where I studied from 1996-2000 for my BBA — Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Accounting and Information Systems. I continued at the University of Dhaka from 2000-01 was awarded a 3.89 CGPA for my subsequent MBA in Accounting and Information Systems. I then went on to work at Stanford University Bangladesh in November 2004 as a Business Administration Lecturer and then in August 2005 I moved onto BRAC University as a Lecturer of Management & Business. I will continue on to my PHd in Accounting or Finance in the future. I want to return to my country and develop the education sector through my students and aid in the economic development of Bangladesh.
My parents, friends and family always encouraged and supported me in pursuing my education. In my spare time I love to travel, meet new people, taste new foods and read magazines. I like Ricky Martin and all kinds of music. I also did a short course in Interior Design and enjoy doing this as a hobby as well.
I am very grateful to London Met for the scholarship opportunity that has changed my life. I went into the local London Met office in Dhaka, Bangladesh and when I told them about my academic background they encouraged me to apply for the scholarship which I did. I was thrilled when I got the great news that I had been awarded a scholarship at London Met."
