In
my school, Motijheel Central Government Girl’s High school and college,
Viqarunnisa
Noon
College,
I always got distinction in the class. I also got various government
scholarships and awards for my continuous good result and for participating in
different extra curricular activities including sports, in which I excelled in
every single competition. Moreover, I got the opportunity to study in the
University of
Dhaka
amongst thousands of students in
Bangladesh. During my BBA and MBA
years, my name has been listed three times in the "Dean’s Merit list" for
getting GPA 4 out of 4 scale. I got the first prize in Essay competition from
Lions club among all Bangladeshi students. Moreover I excelled in different
Wall paper and Bissho Shahitta Kendro book reading competition
I was
working as a Lecturer in the Department of Business Administration at
Stamford University,
Bangladesh for three years. I was also acting as a supervisor to the BBA
and MBA interns in the university. I did voluntary internship in Eastern Bank, PARTEX
Group Ltd. and in Delta BRAC Housing Finance Corporation as part of the MBA
program. Recently, I had participated in the 12th International
conference organized by NELTA in
Nepal in 2007. I also got the
scholarship in
UK
organized by ATN Bangla in 2007. My friends and family always there
with me to encourage for my further education. In my spare time I love to listen
to music, travel, browsing internet, read magazines.
I was pleased by such a great honor by
London
Metropolitan
University. I am very
grateful to London Met for awarding me the Dr. Mohammad Shahidulla scholarship
that has changed my life. I am very happy and feel honored. I am also grateful
for the continuous help by the London Met office in
Dhaka,
Bangladesh.
By
completing this MSc program, I will learn about the latest technologies and
practices of Finance and I will be able to work as a Financial Analyst in many
national and international organizations.
After my masters I would like to do my PhD in Finance.
