MA International Business
American Sports Scholar

"I started to play basketball when I was aged 13. I'm from New Jersey in the USA and I studied at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts from 1996-2001. After this I worked as an Operations Co-ordinator at Fidelity Investments in a Co-Op programme.

In 2004 I joined the Harlem Globetrotters and played with them for six months touring Europe and Mexico. Then I came to London and enrolled at London Met where I play for the London Met Basketball team and I'm studying International Business at North campus. I really like my course and love playing for the London Met team and we are now in first place in the BUSA Southern region and second place in the UK and we are really pleased with this.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching good films and I like R&B and Hip Hop music. I want to get into sales in the financial industry and eventually I would like to start my own trans-national business company. I enjoy London Met because of all the different cultures and nationalities of people that study here. London is a great city too because of the diverse cultures that live here.

I am pleased that I chose London Met because it is a growing new University and there are many great things about it. My UK Masters degree qualification from London Met will be very beneficial to me when I finish my studies and start looking for my ideal job in a Sales and Marketing Management role."
