My name is Ekainu Achukwu, I come from
Nigeria
and I am studying for a Msc Computer Networking degree. My passion is learning
about new and emerging trends in digital computer networks and winning the Dr
Murtala Muhammed scholarship enabled me to indulge in this passion. I chose
London Met because it offers a truly multicultural experience and because I
wanted to study in a supportive and enabling environment. It was also important
to me that London Met is a CISCO systems

Academy.
I obtained my first degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering from
the Federal University of Technology Minna, Nigeria. At the end of my
undergraduate study, I did a project on the design and construction of an
integrated touch sensitive security alarm system that has the capability of
being interfaced to a digital computer network for effective monitoring and
security.
Studying in
London
so far has been a life changing experience for me. I have learnt many new
things, made friends from various countries and above all learning has being a
wonderful experience. This experience, I strongly believe will provide me with
more opportunities and take me a step further to the future I envisage for
myself.
