Asia House/London Met Scholarship
London Metropolitan University and Asia House are offering a joint scholarship programme for students from Asia. The scholarship is open to all students from countries in Asia - from Iran in the west to Japan in the east, and from the Central Asian republics through to Indonesia.The University awards one postgraduate tuition scholarship per year under this scheme, and the successful student, who can be from any course, will be offered an internship and part-time work experience at Asia House.
The scholarship, which is awarded annually to a top postgraduate
student, is designed to promote Asian arts, culture and business within
London and globally, through the links between the University and Asia
House, the UK's pre-eminent cultural institute for Asia.
"We are looking for someone who has experience of arts, promotion,
marketing or events, and who would be keen to work part-time with
Asia House on a range of projects promoting Asia to London's business
and cultural communities", says Charlotte Pinder, Chief Executive of
Asia House.

HOW TO APPLY
Students applying for the Asia House/London Met scholarship must hold an unconditional offer on one of London Met's Masters courses and are invited to apply for the scholarship before 31 May, for courses starting in September 2009.
