Polish Scholarships

London Metropolitan University is pleased to announce a major scholarship programme for outstanding Polish students.

The scholarship programme will cover the students tuition fees and offer one full and two 50% partial scholarships for outstanding Polish graduates to study for a range of masters degrees at the University.

The scholarship programme will be available to all graduates of Polish nationality, and each year's winners will be determined by a panel including academics from the University and representatives from the Polish community and Poland.

The closing date for applications will be 31 May and 31 October each year, and the programme will run for five years, and the awards will be for any masters degree at the University.  The first closing date for applications is 31 May 2010.

"We are delighted to launch this scholarship programme", said Mark Bickerton, Director of Student Recruitment and International Development, at a speech to a group of successful Polish entrepreneurs and alumni at London's Barbican Centre recently. "Polish students have, for many years, been one of the most academically successful groups at the University for a number of years now, and we are proud to give scholarship opportunities like this to outstanding and talented people from Poland.
We are seeking to reward outstanding individuals; not only those who have excellent academic achievements, but also those who have demonstrated individual drive, originality, a committment to society or personal courage.  Britain, and Europe, have benefitted hugely from a dynamic and prosperous Poland, and we want to reward those qualities that make Poland special through this scholarship programme."

To apply for this programme you should apply online through this site, after you have received an unconditional admission to a masters course at London Metropolitan University, and by 31 May 2010. Students may fill in the application form or apply online.
