International Student House Scholarships

International Student House (ISH) is an extraordinary place for international students who are studying in London.  It offers a culturally diverse environment where students from all over the world come to live together, share each others cultural experiences and enjoy the full programme of social and recreational activities that the House has to offer.

International Student House is about promoting global friendship, trust and education for all, this is why we have a scholarships programme, to allow students with potential the opportunity to study in London where ordinarily they would not have the resources to do so.

Our scholars come from countries across the globe where the financial strains of the country and the individual families prevent study being taken up

ISH Scholarships:

ISH African Students Bursary

Residential Scholarships

International Students House (ISH) and its sister charity, International Students Trust, provide a range of residential scholarships for students from the developing world.  The residential scholarship provides free accommodation at ISH for up to a year and in exceptional circumstances up to three years.

The majority of scholarships are for postgraduate courses, however we also grant scholarships for undergraduate students.  Nearly all scholarships are co founded with an academic institution who ensure a tuition fee waiver.  All the scholarships are designed to give students from the developing world an opportunity to study in London and to acquire skills and training that will allow them, when they return home, to work and aid the country’s development.

The current level of complete sponsorship has reached just shy of £1,000,000 which is a terrific achievement and allows ISH and its partner institutions to help almost 50 students each year.

It is possible to help this many students via a number of means; An annual grant from the International Students Trust, a contribution of 1% of all turnover at ‘ISH Travel’ and 5% from all PCCC lettings and finally through the generosity of individuals, charitable foundations and private companies.
