Important Notes
- Applicants MUST have an ID number. In order to be eligible to apply for a Scholarship, applicants must have obtained an unconditional offer (an offer with no conditions attached) from the London Metropolitan University. Applications will not be considered from applicants who do not hold an unconditional offer, unless they are an existing student progressing from a BA/BSc course onto a London Met MA or MSc course and only in these cases will a conditional offer letter (if unconditional is not available at the time of submitting a scholarship application form) be acceptable. For more information on London Met please visit: /prospective/. If you do not yet have an offer to study at London Met you may apply using a course application form which is available from Course Enquiries by e-mailing international.admissions@londonmet.ac.uk or can be downloaded from the website on the how to apply pages. Once a student has been issued with an unconditional offer letter to study their preferred course at London Met, if you are interested in applying for a scholarship, you should download and complete the Scholarship Application Form available on this website and must include a copy of your unconditional offer letter with their completed scholarship application form, references, results.
- Please note that London Metropolitan
University Scholarships do not provide support for Foundation
Programmes, HNDs, Pre-Masters. To find out about scholarships for PhD and research programmes, please go to our Graduate School's webpage.
- You
can apply for more than one scholarship with one application, however
you should list all scholarships you want to apply for on your
application form.
- The closing date for receipt of applications is noted for each scholarship individually and you must allow adequate time for posting to ensure they arrive before the deadline, or they will not be considered if they do not arrive in time.
- No emailed or faxed scholarship applications will be accepted (Some scholarships are excepted from this rule, please refer to the specific scholarships for more information).
- Your personal statement is important to the scholarship panel, so try to include something about all the criteria requested: i.e. academic achievements/results, charity/volunteer work you've done, and any extra-curricular activities you've done, as well. Please remember to include any volunteer and/or extra-curricular activities that you've done.
- Applicants should also submit any other documents that they think may help in the assessment of their application. Transcripts, certificates and references etc. will all be considered but please do not send originals as they can't be returned. Good photocopies will be accepted and results will be checked with the organisation. Under no circumstances will original documents be returned.
- Due to the large numbers of applications received it is NOT possible to contact all applicants. Therefore, if you do not receive notification (by email or phone) within three weeks of the closing date, you can assume that your application was not successful. The University is not able to provide reasons for non-Awards and will not enter into discussions with scholarship applicants regarding the panel's decisions which is final.
- Scholarship students details (name, course, profile, photo) will be used in the University's print and/or website promotional material, unless a valid reason for non-participation is provided to the scholarships manager in advance.
