Immigration information
Students going to Roosevelt University have J1 visa status.
Please visit the US Department of State website for more information about the US Visa services, application process and fees. Read carefully the information about application fees and SEVIS fees, these are your responsibility.
All exchange visitor applicants must have a SEVIS generated DS 2019 issued by a Department of State designated sponsor, which they submit when they are applying for their exchange visitor visa. This will be sent to you by Roosevelt if you meet all the application requirements.

Once you have been nominated by London Metropolitan University you will be given the application packet to complete.
Language Requirement: require TOEFL score of 550 or equivalent
London Met Application Deadline: 1 March
Roosevelt Application Deadline: 1 June

Mandatory insurance requirement. May be purchased through Roosevelt University.

Arrival and orientation
Mandatory international orientation to cover immigration, university and cultural adjustment issues. One week before beginning of semester.

You will be required to submit a financial statement verifying that you have funds available for one academic semester to cover the following estimated costs:
