London Metropolitan University has over 250 Bangladeshi students currently studying on foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
London Met was one of the first UK universities to open its own office in Bangladesh. The office which is located in Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel Dhaka, provides free advice and counselling for students wanting to study at the University. K.M.Mazharul Islam (Operation Manager), Priyanka Dey (International Office Assistant) are experienced counsellors and will be able to deal with your queries relating to courses, qualifications, fees, visas, accomodation at London Met and other issues.
For Entry to International Foundation Programme
for students who have a pass in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or an equivalent year 12 programme plus IELTS 5.0. The programme provides a year of academic study and English preparation. Upon successful completion students can progress to any of our degree courses.
For Entry to Bachelors/Undergraduate courses
for students who have a 2 year pass degree. Exceptional students with a first division pass (starred) in HSC may be considered for undergraduate programmes. All students need IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 237.
For Entry to Masters/Postgraduate courses
for students who have a second division masters or a first division honours degree from Bangladesh. Students with second division honours degree may need to undertake a Pre-Masters course before joining the masters degree. MBA applicants also need 2 years work experience normally after graduation and at management level. All students need IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 237.

The Bangladesh Students Society is run by a group of London Met students and organises regular events and activities for Bangladeshi students. BSS organises regular social activities for tis members, including picnics in the park, day trips to ODI cricket matches and much more.
