Welcome to Get Ahead

A free conference for undergrad and postgrad students at London Met is going to be held on 21st April 2010 at the Graduate Centre, North Campus of London Metropolitan University.

The event is organised by the University’s three Centers for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETLs); Reusable Learning Objects (RLO), Learn Higher and Write Now.

The Conference aim is to improve students’ employability and academic skills and to raise awareness of strategies and resources available for study success.

The event will offer a wide variety of workshops covering employability, volunteering and improving your study skills.

All student delegates will receive a free buffet lunch, free goody bag for the first 150 attendees and entertainment will be provided by the university choir, salsa and many others.

You are welcome to take part in the whole day or just one session but we do ask that you complete our online bookings form to give us an idea of how many people will be coming. The only other thing we require from you is for you to turn up on the day prepared to have a good time. It’s as simple as that!
