Genesis is a mapping initiative that supports research into women's history. It consists of:
- A Database with descriptions of women's history collections from museums, libraries and archives in the United Kingdom
- A Guide to Sources that provides access to a wide range of national and international web resources on women's history.
Genesis was initially developed with funding from the Research Support Libraries Programme (RSLP) and is currently maintained by the staff of The Women's Library at London Metropolitan University.
