Fun event for a great cause

Date: 09/03/2015

During Green week, our Amnesty team took the opportunity to get fit and healthy whilst raising money for a good cause by organising The Tower Run.

London Guildhall Faculty of Business & Law would like to congratulate all 12 contestants who completing the 13 floor run in under three minutes.

The previous impressive record of 1 minute 20 seconds was beaten by Xavier Munoz Perez in a speedy 1 minute 2 seconds. Guildhall’s very own Lucy Hall won the female race with a time of 1 minute 29 seconds. Special congratulations are also given to Vanessa Airth for raising £300 in sponsorship money.

The photos from the Tower Run are now uploaded on our Facebook page.

The Amnesty team are well on their way to achieving their goal, from the Tower Run alone they have raised a massive £1,200.

We would like to thank all staff for helping to coordinate this event and if you would like further information or donations please visit the Amnesty just giving page or contact Tahera Huda at t.huda@londonmet.ac.uk
