Alison Hope, a consumer director from Good Relations, an award-winning public relations (PR) and content agency visited London Met's business school back in April 2016.

Alison provided an insightful and stimulating talk, covering key areas of consumer PR including the way in which PR engages with the consumer audience, what makes a good news story, the power of influence, how to create and drive conversations in real time, how we should approach traditional media today, what makes an impactful campaign and which brands are doing this really well. Alison also highlighted the current trends and future directions for the industry, including changes in media/digital mix.

Our students benefit hugely from having seminars from professionals in the industry. This gives them an insight to the practical world of work, and how they can apply theory to practice.
